Features
The silicon carbide crucible produced by our company has the following significant advantages:
1. Long service life: The use of isostatic pressing process and unique formula, using high-quality raw materials, improves the crucible's antioxidant capacity and greatly extends its service life.
2. Rapid thermal conductivity: High thermal conductivity enables the crucible to quickly transfer heat during the smelting process and improve smelting efficiency.
3. No pollution: The crucible material is pure and will not pollute the smelted metal, ensuring the quality of the metal.
Application areas
Our carbon silicon carbide crucibles are suitable for a variety of smelting applications, including but not limited to:
- Zinc and zinc alloy: efficient melting to ensure metal purity.
- Aluminum and aluminum alloy: rapid heat transfer and improved production efficiency.
- Copper and copper alloys: excellent in high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance.
- Precious metals: High-purity smelting of precious metals such as gold and silver.
- Master alloy, master alloy: suitable for refining and casting various alloys.
Applicable furnace type
Silicon carbide crucibles are suitable for various furnace types, including induction furnaces, edge insulation furnaces, flame furnaces, coke furnaces, biomass pellet furnaces, gas furnaces, oil furnaces, resistance furnaces, and medium frequency furnaces. They are especially suitable for smelting metals with high acidity. , Alkali corrosiveness.
Check and store
Upon receipt, the crucible must be inspected for completeness. Preheat the crucible to red hot and check for "bright rings" or "bright spots". The crucible should be stored in a dry and ventilated place to avoid moisture.
Install correctly
When installing the crucible, a base of the same material and appropriate size should be used to ensure that the crucible has enough expansion space. The furnace lid should not be pressed against the crucible, and the fiber blanket in the resistance furnace should not be pressed tightly against the crucible. Make sure the furnace lining is repaired and as concentric as possible to avoid flame deflection affecting the crucible.
Warm up and maintain
Proper preheating and maintenance are essential to ensure optimal performance of your crucible. The detailed steps are as follows:
1. 200 degrees: constant temperature preheating for 3 hours.
2. 700 degrees: constant temperature preheating for 2 hours.
3. 900 degrees: constant temperature preheating for 1 hour.
4. Allow the crucible to cool naturally until it no longer glows.
5. Then raise the temperature to normal aluminum melting/loading temperature and add aluminum vertically at a 90-degree angle.
Precautions for use
1. The amount of aluminum soup should be appropriate: the aluminum soup should not be too full or too little. Filling too much can cause the solution to overflow and damage the heating element, while filling too little can cause premature oxidation of the crucible due to temperature differences.
2. Normal aluminum soup capacity: downward from the crucible mouth, the distance from the aluminum liquid level should not exceed 3cm.
3. Clean the aluminum liquid: Before each shutdown, be sure to clean the aluminum liquid and aluminum in the crucible.
4. Long-term shutdown and preheating: If the shutdown exceeds 48 hours (24 hours in winter) or the crucible is damp, it is recommended to preheat according to the preheating steps.
5. Regular maintenance: After 2 months of use, it is recommended to perform maintenance according to the preheating steps to extend the service life of the crucible and slow down thermal decay.
In conclusion
Our company's carbon silicon carbide crucible provides efficient and reliable solutions for high temperature industries with its excellent performance. With proper installation, preheating and maintenance, crucible life can be maximized and melting efficiency improved. We are committed to providing high-quality products to help various industries achieve more efficient and environmentally friendly production goals.
