Why choose us

The crucible’s smooth interior surface further enhances its performance by reducing the adhesion of molten copper, making it easier to pour and minimizing metal waste during the casting process. This smooth finish also simplifies post-melt cleaning and maintenance, extending the crucible’s service life.

Applications in the Copper Casting Industry

Our copper crucibles are suitable for a wide range of copper processing applications, including:

  • Copper smelting: The high melting point and durability of our crucibles make them ideal for primary copper smelting, where large volumes of raw copper ore are melted down for refining.
  • Alloy production: When producing copper alloys such as brass or bronze, the crucible’s precise heat management ensures consistent mixing and uniform alloy composition.
  • Copper casting: Whether you are producing ingots, billets, or finished copper components, our crucibles provide the ideal environment for high-purity copper casting, ensuring high-quality final products.
  • Durability and Longevity

Our crucibles for copper are designed to withstand multiple melt cycles without compromising performance. With proper care and usage, they offer a long service life, reducing the frequency of replacements and lowering operational costs for foundries. The crucibles' mechanical strength ensures they remain structurally stable, even under the heavy load of molten copper, and can endure repeated handling and movement in the foundry environment.

Crucibles made from silicon carbide and graphite have been proven to last up to 100 cycles, depending on the exact operating conditions and handling procedures. This makes them a cost-effective solution for high-volume copper processing facilities.

    Key Features

    • High-Temperature Resistance: Capable of withstanding temperatures up to 1450°C, well above copper’s melting point.
    • Excellent Thermal Conductivity: Ensures rapid and uniform heating, improving energy efficiency in copper melting operations.
    • Corrosion Resistance: Protects against slag, metal oxides, and chemical reactions during the melting process, ensuring long-term durability.
    • Low Thermal Expansion: Minimizes the risk of thermal shock and cracking during rapid heating or cooling.
    • Smooth Inner Surface: Prevents molten copper from sticking, ensuring clean pours and reducing metal waste.
    • Extended Service Life: Engineered to last multiple melt cycles, reducing the need for frequent replacements.

    Compatibility with Furnace Types

Our copper melting crucibles are compatible with various types of furnaces commonly used in the copper casting industry:

    • Induction Furnaces: With their high thermal conductivity and precise heat management, these crucibles are ideal for use in induction melting, ensuring efficient energy use and rapid melting times.
    • Gas-Fired Furnaces: The crucibles’ resistance to thermal shock and high temperatures makes them suitable for direct flame applications, where rapid heating is essential.
    • Resistance Furnaces: In electric resistance furnaces, the crucibles ensure consistent and reliable performance with low energy consumption.

Why Choose Our Crucible for Copper?

Our crucibles are designed to meet the highest standards of the copper casting industry, offering:

    • Premium materials for optimal heat resistance and durability.
    • Advanced manufacturing processes that ensure uniformity and precision.
    • Customization options to meet specific foundry requirements in terms of size and capacity.
    • Comprehensive technical support from our team of experts to ensure seamless integration into your production process.

When asking for a quotation, please provide the following details
