In laboratory settings, silica crucibles are used for small-scale experiments and smelting processes. These crucibles are also widely used in industrial applications such as metal casting, especially for materials like copper and aluminum. Silicon carbide crucibles are particularly favored in larger-scale operations due to their durability and ability to withstand intense heat.
Gradually heat
0°C-200°C: slowly heat for 4 hours
200℃-300℃: Heat slowly for 1 hour
300℃-800℃: slowly heat for 4 hours
300℃-400℃: slowly heat for 4 hours
400℃-600℃: rapid heating and maintenance for 2 hours
Furnace preheating
After the furnace is shut down, slow and fast heating is performed according to the type of oil or electric furnace to ensure that the crucible reaches the best condition before official use.
Operational process
When using silicon carbide crucible, operating procedures must be strictly followed to ensure that its performance is fully utilized, its service life is extended, more value is created, and higher economic benefits are generated. The excellent performance and reliability of silicon carbide crucibles make it an indispensable tool in industrial smelting and casting processes.
