Laboratory and Industrial Applications

In laboratory settings, silica crucibles are used for small-scale experiments and smelting processes. These crucibles are also widely used in industrial applications such as metal casting, especially for materials like copper and aluminum. Silicon carbide crucibles are particularly favored in larger-scale operations due to their durability and ability to withstand intense heat.

Gradually heat

0°C-200°C: slowly heat for 4 hours

200℃-300℃: Heat slowly for 1 hour

300℃-800℃: slowly heat for 4 hours

300℃-400℃: slowly heat for 4 hours

400℃-600℃: rapid heating and maintenance for 2 hours

Furnace preheating

After the furnace is shut down, slow and fast heating is performed according to the type of oil or electric furnace to ensure that the crucible reaches the best condition before official use.
